How to Configure Sort by Item Name?

We are providing an optional extra attribute column in table which contains same value as value of SimpleDB item identifier and you can select the "sdb-item-identifier" for sorting your records by Item-Name.

To configure the option Sort By Item-Name for your selected domain, please follow the steps:-

1. Run SDB Explorer as usual.
2. Open Tools menu from main menu to choose Advance option.
3. The “Configure Sort by Item Name” sub menu will appear.
4. After selecting sub menu the panel will be opened with title Enable/Disable Feature “Sort by Item Name”.
5. List of Domains having check box in front of each domain name that has been selected by-default will be displayed over panel.
6. Check/Uncheck the check box according to your requirement and click on Ok button.
7. Additional attribute “Sdb-item-identifier” will be added to each item row for the Domain that you have recently checked and saved.
8. And no additional attribute “Sdb-item-identifier” will be added to each item row for the Domain that you have recently unchecked and saved.
