How to Upload Bulk Data Using Direct Cell Editor with Default Settings?

Using Amazon SimpleDB you can upload bulk data using "Direct cell editor" with default setting.
 

Follow the steps below to upload Data using direct cell editor with default setting:

  1. Run SDB Explorer as usual.
  2. After successful login, select your domain from the tree.
  3. Click on Bulk Upload button present at tool bar of main window.
  4. Select " Direct Cell Editing " from drop down window.
  5. It will open "Table Settings" panel.
  6. Click on "Continue with Default" button.
  7. "Direct Cell Editor" window will be opened.
  8. First column name will be "Item Name".
  9. You can choose "Set Column Name" , "Add Column", "Delete Column" by right clicking on header.
  10. You can directly edit cell,by clicking on the particular cell.
  11. Enter value,
  12. Click on "Upload" button.
  13. A new ADD/REPLACE panel will be opened, select desired option either "Replace All" or "Select All" and click on "Ok" button.
  14. Your data now start uploading.
  15. After completion of uploading, explore the specified domain. You will find uploaded data in GRID.
